On 28 March 2025 the government assumed a Caretaker role. Information on websites maintained by Parks Australia will be published in accordance with the Guidance on Caretaker Conventions until after the conclusion of the caretaker period.

Norfolk Island National Park is a wonderful place to see the island’s incredible flora and fauna and take in the views of the surrounding area.

The island provides an important link between the tropical and temperate oceanic environments.

It has never been joined to a landmass, so many of the park’s unique plant and animal species have evolved in isolation.
